How an LCD Monitor Works

An LCD works by producing an image using a liquid crystal material made of large, easily polarized molecules. The layers of the LCD panels together create the image. At the center of the layers is the liquid crystal material. Directly next to it is the layer responsible for providing color to the image you see.
